Let’s face it. I don’t really do a whole glam look for work everyday. I have to be to work at 7 AM, I really love sleep, and I see about 6 people on a given day. So here are 6 products that I usually stick to for my 5 minute morning routine.
1.Dr. Brandt’s Luminizer Primer Retail Value $38
I received this in my BoxyCharm Box and I am obsessed with it. My face is dry, so this dewy primer is great on my skin and makes any foundation look radiant.
A little goes a long way, I use maybe a pea sized for my face, so this stuff will last a pretty long time.
2. Too Faced Born This Way Foundation Retail $39 / (Or Makeup Forever if I want lighter coverage)
I have tried other foundations, and currently still trying others but I keep coming back to you, Born This Way ❤
I love the fuller coverage, but it still feels lightweight. Foundation is the product where I really try to find different brands that could work for me. It’s just so tricky because there are so many shades and undertones. An Ivory in one brand could mean something completely different in other brands terms. Unfortunately, when I go to Sephora to try to color match, my stores won’t have them, or won’t have them in my shade. So, for now I’ll stick to Born This Way.
3. Sephora Powder $20
I received this in one of my Play By Sephora Bags, and I really like it!
A simple face powder that doesn’t cake up or settle in fine lines–and doesn’t leave my face dry as the Sahara Desert.
I haven’t gotten too into pressed powders until I received this one, so I’ll probably look into different brands.
4. Too Faced Sun Bunny Bronzer
I have a few different bronzers, but I just don’t find myself reaching for them as much as this one.
This one I use everyday and I don’t think they make it anymore! So I will be on my way to finding a new bronzer here soon.
5. ColourPop Flexitarian Super Shock Highligher $8
Highlighter is one of my favorite products to buy and recently I have been using the ABH Glow Kit that I bought on sale at Ulta. But as much as I love it, I wouldn’t pay full price for it. This on the other hand, is a tried and true love of mine.
I just haven’t restocked mine lately because I have been using the ABH one.
6. NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer $30
I bought this on a whim at Sephora and I am glad I did. I’ve used it as a eye primer, carve the brows and for concealing the under eyes.
There are a lot of other concealers that I have, but again, I love how easy this one is to blend out, it hides dark circles like a champ and it is so creamy.
Bonus: And if I have time I’ll set my face with NYX Dewy Setting Spray, and add a little mascara (I will do a top 5 mascaras that worked for me) – this is important to me because my eyes water pretty bad sometimes and I need something that won’t make me look like Taylor circa Blank Space.
Stay tuned for my Makeup loves and losses!
